We seem to be falling into a predictable pattern at the moment. Lose heavily, win in Europe, carry momentum into league win, rinse and repeat.
In midweek, Leicester City got themselves over a thrashing by Liverpool by bouncing back with a win over Porto. Now it’s Southampton they invite into the KP and, with the team finding themselves in 13th place in the league, they could do with a big result here.
I think we will find the same team as last year, with physical play and direct play. Their players in front can make the difference every time. We can see from their last game in the Champions League that they are a good, strong team - Saints Manager Claude Puel is full of praise
The Saints themselves are not much higher, after an unsteady start under new boss Claude Puel, but are in fantastic form, winning their last 2 in the league and unbeaten in 5 in all competitions.

Leicester City Team News:
It looks like we’re back with a full squad available, as Marcin Wasilewski’s suspension is over and Nampalys Mendy is available again after injury. After a month out, he may take some time to be ready for a full 90 minutes, however.
Southampton Team News:
Southampton also appear to be at full strength, and will be fresher after resting several players for their own midweek fixture.
