You know how the old adage goes...if one chats sh*t, thou shall get banged.
Well, Harry Kane, your time has come.
The Tottenham forward, who is having a fantastic season with the London side, decided on being a bit brash following a resounding Spurs victory last month and posted this to his Instagram account:
Very clever, Harry. Spurs were dominant of late and showed every sign of catching the pack-leading Foxes in the race for the Premier League title.
It was not to be however as Chelsea (of all clubs) was able to derail Tottenham's title bid with two matches remaining following a tremendous 2-2 draw that saw the Blues battle back from a 2-0 halftime deficit to seal the title for Leicester.
Vardy, up to his old tricks and staying true to his now famous catch phrase, responded to Kane with a terrific subtweet seen here:

Ice. Cold.
Ironically, the pair will likely be leading the line for England at this summer's Euro 2016, so hopefully the burn isn't too deep.
Oh, and Leicester City are Champions of England.
