In the 87th minute of Monday's international friendly between France and Cameroon, the African side equalized after a controversial buildup play, silencing the French home crowd.
Moments later, Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante pushed forward for France, drawing a foul just outside the penalty area.
With a free kick for France just outside the penalty area, cue Dimitri Payet. The West Ham midfielder worked his magic once again, curling a shot just inside the far post to win it for France.
Kante began the match on the bench as France manager Didier Deschamps opted for Lassana Diarra in central midfield. At halftime, the switch was made and Kante replaced Diarra.
The substitute appearance was Kante's third cap for France. The victory for the Foxes' middle man comes just one day after Kante revealed to L'Equipe that he is content to remain in Leicester despite heavy interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.
Kante and France will be in action again on Saturday June 4 when they take on Scotland in anticipation of the upcoming UEFA Euros.
