The away kit went on sale Monday at the Leicester City team store. For the first time since 2014-15, the club's first back in the Premier League in over a decade, Leicester will wear red away from home. The kit features a half-collar and a gradient stripe pattern with plain red shorts and socks.
Here's the statement from the official Leicester City website:
The new away kit offers a bold eye catching ‘Glory’ graphic to provide a modern reinterpretation of the classic stripe, helping to make a dramatic on-the-pitch statement.
Leicester City captain Wes Morgan, seen modeling the kit above, was very happy with the new strip for next season. The Jamaican international told LCFC.com:
The kit looks fantastic - it’s a great design that I’m sure the fans will love. When you're on the way to an away game and you see the fans out in force, decked out in their colours, it’s a brilliant feeling. It always feels like we’re in it together.
