The 23-year-old scored 58 goals in 168 games for CSKA, warranting attraction from the likes of Southampton, West Ham United, and Everton. However, Musa revealed in May that he would be happy to join Leicester in the summer and looks set to arrive after completing his club medical on Wednesday.
He can be deployed as either a winger or a striker and has been described as a "perfect fit" for the Premier League with blistering pace and solid decision-making.
Despite his young age, Musa has a wealth of international experience, making a total of 58 appearances with the Nigerian National Team and scoring 11 goals.
Musa is being looked at as a potential strike partner for Jamie Vardy after finishing his most prolific Russian Premier League season with 13 goals in 29 matches. He could also be used at left wing, giving Leicester City the option to play in a 4-3-3 next season.
Either way, Musa looks to be a very promising addition to the squad.
UPDATE: The club has now officially announced the signing with imagery of the player in his new Leicester City kit posted on their social media channels.
