The day is finally here. Leicester City Football Club returns to the pitch today to defend it’s Premier League crown. Still hard to believe but hey, let’s roll with it.

First up for the Foxes is a trip KCOM Stadium to take on newly-promoted Hull City and new boss Mike Phelan. Should be an interesting affair.

Leicester has looked solid in preseason, playing some pretty stiff competition. Despite not getting some of the results it was after, Claudio Ranieri and co. go into this season full of confidence. That was further boosted recently when it was revealed that superstar Riyad Mahrez has allegedly agreed to stay with the club at least past this transfer window.

Good stuff, Riyad. We love you.

Leicester has never been about one man, of course, and hopefully the club is able to put that team mentality on display against the Tigers.
