Well this is certainly good news!

Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him in the Midlands until at least 2020.

See, look, it’s real:

Mahrez joins a long list of players who re-upped with the Premier League champions this summer including, Jamie Vardy, Wes Morgan, Ben Chilwell and Kasper Schmeichel.

The 25-year-old midfielder/forward was in world-beating form in 2015/16 as he netted 17 goals and added 11 assists en route to the PFA Player of the Year Award.

It’s great news for the Foxes who started the season with a bit of a bump losing the opener to Hull at KCOM Stadium. Heading into Saturday’s match with Arsenal, it’ll be a huge boost for the club to have their key man under contract, officially ending speculation about his rumored departure.

Happy days!
