The Foxes first ever Champions League foray.

The last time Leicester City qualified for a European competition, they faced Red Star Belgrade in the first round of the 2000/01 UEFA Cup. I’ll never forget the gut punch I felt at Filbert Street as Belgrade scored after just 47 seconds on the way to eliminating us.

Not only have we not been back for 16 years, Leicester City have never competed in the primary competition of European football in its 61 year history. This. Is. Huge.

Normally I’m at home watching on the TV. The music sends a shiver through your body so it'll be special walking out - Captain Morgan, on the Champions League

I know plenty of fans (and probably players) need picking after a terrible performance against Liverpool, but this is unmistakably it. Drink it in. Enjoy it, whatever happens. These things don’t come around every year but it will stick with you.

Leicester City Team News:

Danny Simpson is the only new injury concern, subbed off after only half an hour against Liverpool. He only has a minor hamstring injury, but is unlikely to be risked by Ranieri. Mendy and Schlupp are not expected to return.

After I got your hopes up on Saturday, Islam Slimani may actually make his debut this time.

Club Brugge Team News:

Forwards Lior Rafaelov and Wesley are absent with long term injuries for the Blue-Blacks.

Should be a great game. Enjoy it and feel free to add your comments below.
