After finishing off 2016 with a win over West Ham, Leicester City look to kick the new year off on a good note, as they travel to Middlesbrough. The sides’ first meeting of the season came in the middle of Leicester’s worst run of the season, and saw them salvage a late point they probably didn’t deserve.
Since that game, Boro have beaten Hull City and Swansea but lost 4 of their last 5, and find themselves in 16th, one place and two points behind the Foxes. This is looking like a six pointer for both teams, as Leicester have a chance to create a bit of breathing room between themselves and the bottom sides.

Leicester City Team News:
Jamie Vardy plays out the final game of his suspension today and is the only certain absentee. However, just two games after the last we should expect some changes from last time out.
Middlesbrough Team News:
Boro are also not lacking in options, with Victor Fischer the only regular who might have to miss out through injury.
As always, enjoy the game and please leave your comments below.
Giroud? Mkhitaryan? We've seen a scorpion kick before! Leicester at Huddersfield in 2012. Take a bow @AKnockaert https://t.co/WTtIysqAmZ
