Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: Leicester City’s BLANK named 2016 BLANK of the Year!

Well, if you’ve been a dedicated reader of Fosse Posse lately (which you all should be, by the way), you would have seen a number of awards going the way of Leicester City Football Club. The latest? The one and only Claudio Ranieri.

Today, on this wonderful day of days, Ranieri was named the 2016 FIFA Best Men’s Coach...because...well...it should be quite obvious by now.

In case you aren’t aware by now (and that leads me to question why your web browser found itself on this page), Leicester had a pretty good 2015/16 season. Ranieri being named the 2016 FIFA Best Men’s Coach is both deserved and fantastic all at once.

"I'm crazy now,” said Ranieri at the award ceremony in Switzerland. “Thank you so much for voting me. I'm 65 now, I start now as a manager."

Don’t you just wish he was your dad? Well maybe not your dad dad but an uncle at least? Or your friendly bartender? Or postman? Just having him in your life at all times? Yes, me too.

Either way, it’s a great honor and the latest in a long line for Leicester over the last few months. Hold on to the good times...
