A stern away test awaits

Leicester City are riding a wave of confidence that’s carried them through six straight wins. They first picked up steam in a morale boosting comeback in the second half of the first leg against Sevilla and are now just one game away from carrying that form into the quarter finals.

Today’s opponents Everton will be a big hurdle in that path, however. The Toffees have dropped to 7th with just one point from their last two games, but were in great from before then, and were one late penalty away from beating Man Utd in the week. They’re a strong side, especially at home where they’ve lost just one this year. Fortunately for us, that was to Leicester, in the cup.

Leicester City Team News:

Molla Wagué and Nampalys Mendy remain out, probably for the season. Wes Morgan is also still not ready and is unlikely to be back before next weekend. Several other key players could also be rested ahead of the UCL quarter final.

Everton Team News:

The Toffees injury list is longer, with Seamus Coleman, Ramiro Funes Mori, Yannick Bolas, James McCarthy and Muhamed Besic all ruled out for the long term, while the availability of Aaron Lennon and Morgan Schneiderlin will depend on late fitness tests. Ashley Williams is suspended after his late red card against Man Utd.
