Leicester City Football Club have a pair of young English footballers who have very bright futures.

Currently playing for their country in the U-21 Euros, fullback Ben Chilwell and winger Demarai Gray have really excelled in the Three Lions’ tournament so far. Most recently, the left-sided duo combined on one of England’s 3-0 goals over Poland on Thursday which ended with a brilliant finish from Gray.

Well hello there. That is some finish from the young man.

The win put England into the semifinals of the tournament, which comes hot off the heels their 1-0 victory over Venezuela in the U-20 World Cup final. Does England have another golden generation coming through? I use another quite loosely. If nothing else...maybe, just maybe the future is bright. We shall see.

For Leicester, it’s fantastic to see both Chilwell and Gray perform well for their country as both players, (if they’re able to keep them at the KP) are the natural successors to the soon-to-be departed Riyad Mahrez and Christian Fuchs and would certainly inject the club with a bit of youthful exuberance.

Just look at those adorable faces! How can you not be excited knowing that these two cheery lads are our boys.

Up next for England is a date in the final four where their opponent will be announced on June 27 after all remaining group stage matches have been played. Regardless of where the Three Lions finish, it’s been a good summer thus far.
