England under-21 international Demarai Gray is in talks to sign an improved deal to stay at the King Power stadium. The length of the deal is unknown at this time, but this should put to rest rumours of the former Birmingham City man’s desire to move elsewhere to get more first team football.

Gray is one of the brightest young attacking talents in England. He was linked to moves to Crystal Palace, Everton, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Bournmouth over the summer, with the Cherries offering City in excess of £20 million for him.
Manager Craig Shakespeare understands Gray’s frustration:
Both sides hope to get the deal done and dusted before the end of the month. While money cannot by happiness, City hope that £50,000 a week will at least buy some patience on the part of their young winger. With Wilfred Ndidi, Ben Chilwell, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Gray in the fold, the future looks very bright for the Foxes if Craig Shakespeare can find a way to get them enough time on the pitch to keep them happy.
