After Ulloa and Musa left on loan deals over the last two days, it’s been a relatively busy day for Leicester City, mostly around more loan deals. Below are the transfers we’ve completed so far, plus a list of deals to look out for.

Completed transfers

IN: Callum Wright - the highly rated 17 year old central midfielder arrives from Blackburn Rovers, and will join the development squad. If we’re honest, we don't know much about this one other than that several Premier League teams wanted him, so that must be good.

OUT: Islam Slimani - the 3rd striker out this week, Slimani has joined Newcastle on a loan until the end of the season.

OUT: Andy King - the club’s longest serving player will join Swansea for the rest of the season. The Wales international may be hoping that more regular game time could help him to win back his place, as Matty James did at Barnsley last year, but it’s still sad to see him go.

Deal is off

OUT: Eldin Jakupovic - Sunderland offered to take him on loan for the rest of the season, but the club apparently turned them down.

OUT: Riyad Mahrez - Manchester City’s interest died almost as suddenly as it appeared. In a climate where defenders cost £50-70m, they wanted our best player, with no time for a replacement and were so appalled that we wouldn't sell him for their “final offer” £65m deal that they backed out. Ok then. Mahrez has re-integrated into the squad after a transfer request before. We all knew he wanted out anyway.
