I think we can all agree (now) that the FA Cup is an awful distraction and we never wanted to be in it in the first place. Some great league form over Christmas left the Foxes 7th, but with a run of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur upcoming, they’d better get their points in now.
Today’s opponents Southampton had a bit of a resurgence themselves over the holiday period, including beating Arsenal and taking a point from Chelsea. They’re still in the bottom three though, and Leicester come in as strong favourites, which has not exactly got well for us lately.
