A day of high emotion awaits

Leicester City lost to Liverpool last time out, but were in great shape before then and well worth their top 4 position. The Foxes not only need to bounce back, but will also have to deal with heightened emotions once again as the club will mark the anniversary of the death of former owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Burnley have taken advantage of a much easier set of fixtures so far and are currently 7th. They’re a decent side and maintain that “hard to beat” presence we’ve all come to expect from them, but the Foxes should be firm favourites.

Leicester City Team News:

James Maddison has recovered fully from the illness that forced him out of the England squad. Brendan Rodgers mentioned that Dennis Praet had remained in Belgium for personal reasons this week, but the Foxes’ newest international did return to training on Friday.

Burnley Team News:

Sadly for us all, I’m sure, Danny Drinkwater is still not fit, so will maintain his streak of not playing against his former club. He’ll be joined by Johann Berg Gudmundsson, but Erik Pieters is expected to be fit. Jack Cork and Ashley Barnes face late fitness tests.
