Coming back from the international break, Leicester City actually have positive injury updates. Kasper Schmeichel and Wesley Fofana are both fit to play, while Timothy Castagne is ready to return. Ndidi, Soyuncu and Pereira are just weeks away.
Given the stern test that is Liverpool, even without Salah, and the injury updates, I’m expecting the Foxes to stick with 3-4-3 (ish) formation that won against Wolves.
CB: Wesley Fofana - Looks to have played his way into a permanent spot.
CB: Jonny Evans - the international break couldn’t have gone much worse, so hopefully he’s looking to turn that around.
LB: Christian Fuchs - he’s so reliable and has played well since coming back in from the cold.
RWB: Timothy Castagne - hasn’t yet had a chance as a wingback, but it suits him much better than fullback, even is he did excel there early on.
CM: Nampalys Mendy - only has a few games left to turn this into a genuine dilemma for Rodgers.
CM: Youri Tielemans - looked in fantastic form for Belgium.
LWB: James Justin - his utility has been key all season. Line up everyone else and see what position is left.
AM: James Maddison - was playing his best football going into the break.
AM: Dennis Praet - it hurts me to leave out Harvey, but I think they’ll stick with what worked last time.
ST: Jamie Vardy - Jamie Vardy.
Fantasy Impact
Big six, Jamie Vardy. Injury concerns at the back, Jamie Vardy. Fresh off the international break, Jamie Vardy. Jamie Vardy.
