There was a plethora of news, reactions, debates and opinions on the Super League and the imminent collapse. This might have led you Leicester City fans to miss out on some news and updates on Leicester city. We got you covered with the important points this week:
FA Cup Final:
Well the biggest news is this, Leicester City are really going to be in a FA Cup Final come May 15th for the first time since 1969! A chance to win another trophy! It the news that brings a smile to my face with the gloom, lockdowns and curfews around the world due to the Covid19.
It was a big FA Cup weekend all around for the Foxes, with the women also advancing after a 4th round win over Liverpool.
Wes Morgan:
Leicester City’s title winning Captain has been elected to the PFA Player’s Board.
We have all seen Wes Morgan’s leadership skills shine during his years at the club. From the new recruits, to the foreign players, to the academy players everyone has spoken well about his leadership skills and now its time for the PFA players board to see Wes Morgan in action!

No New Injuries:
Incase, like us, you held your breathe for the few seconds that it appeared Kelechi Iheanacho might have hurt his knee or leg during the semi-finals of the FA Cup. While he continued to play on till the end the match, it was a worrying concern considering injuries have been a bane at the club since the turn of the year.
Not to worry, Brendon Rodger’s confirmed in the press conference yesterday that Leicester City have no new injuries! :)

Under 23’s hit 7 against Southampton’s Under 23’s:
Edging towards relegation, the Leicester City’s Under 23’s gave themselves a good shout and hit 7 goals in a victory against the Southampton’s Under 23s. Leading the pack with a hattrick was a former West Brom academy product Jake Wakeling who was signed from a Non League side Alvechurch earlier in the campaign. With alot of the Under 23’s out on loan, and the remaining ones taking part in the first team training and part of the bubble it has been a difficult campaign for them till now. Lets see what the future holds, but Jake Wakeling, who’s hit 10 goals so far in the season, is someone we might see in the future.
