There can be little argument about it, yesterday’s FA Cup Final was one the greatest ever moments to be a Leicester City fan. It was an incredible day and there’s no way it could be improved upon...or could it?
I don’t know about you, but I love me some Youri Tielemans, and I couldn’t help but notice that he only seemed to get about 1/22 of the attention. To rectify that, I bring you: The FA Cup Finielemans.
All Wembley days start out with a suit, and the Foxes kicked things off in style and unity with a special cup final suit for the whole squad.

And then a quick look inside the City dressing room, courtesy of the official instagram account. I can’t imagine getting dressed in front of a large poster of myself, but if I was Youri Tielemans you can bet I would.
And then they’re out onto the pitch. What a moment that was, to see them take the field, not only at Wembley, but in front of their own fans for the first time in what feels like forever.
Quick shout out to Luke Thomas, making his first ever first team appearance in front of a Leicester City crowd. Not a bad way to start.

And then onto the game itself. Most of the team did themselves proud, with particularly impressive performances from the kids at the back Wesley Fofana and Luke Thomas. Still, there was only one man who all eyes were on.

I do feel like one moment stood out a little amongst all that though. Just one more look wouldn’t hurt.
WOW.

Leicester fans saw out most of the rest of the game hiding behind sofa cushions, as it became attack vs defence with the Foxes desperately holding on, with an assist from VAR.
When the time was finally up, the emotion of the moment was etched into every face on the pitch.

All that was left was to celebrate. It was great to see the whole celebrate together, especially when they brought Top into the fold and showed their love for the whole Leicester City family, not just the on-pitch contingent. But this isn’t a post about the whole Leicester City family, it’s about Youri Tielemans.

The celebrations continued into the dressing room, as expertly documented through Kelechi Iheanacho on instagram live. If you weren’t able to catch it, here’s the highlight:
In conclusion, thanks Youri. Same again on Tuesday, yeah?
