Kabak spent the second half of last season on loan at the Anfield club from Schalke, who have been relegated from the Bundesliga. With The drop to the 2 Bundesliga, it is quite certain the defender will look for new pastures in a top flight League.
As a result, the Turkey international looks set to move on this summer, with the Foxes and Newcastle United credited with an interest in the 21-year-old according to a report from Leicester Mercury.
Liverpool have reportedly decided against signing Kabak permanently.
The centre-back is preparing for Euro 2020, with Turkey facing Italy in the opening game in Rome on Friday.
Recently Kabak gave an interview to a Turkish Media Outlet Sozcu, in which he spoke about his future and a link with Leicester City.
“I had good times at Schalke, but I also had a lot of misfortune, but it gave me a lot. Every experience I have will be with me for the rest of my life.”
“If I had stayed, would it have stayed in the cluster (league)? This is another matter. I don’t think it’s a topic for discussion. Fate brought me to Liverpool. I had many different good feelings there and had good experiences. So it was destiny.
“I don’t know what will happen next either. I’m totally focused on the national team right now. After this tournament, we will sit down and talk. There is nothing there yet.”
Kabak spoke about the experience he has built up in recent seasons ahead of next career move.
“I played in Galatasaray at the age of 18 in the Champions League,” he said.
“After that, I played in Stuttgart, Schalke in Germany. I played the Champions League again and again. Actually, considering his age, I played in three leagues.
“I played close to 10 Champions League matches. Now there is the European Championship.
“These are important experiences at a young age. I am happy, proud. After that, my career planning will continue.”
“We will try to sit in the best way and continue my career in the best league and the best team. Premier League and Bundesliga added a lot to me.
“I can’t say for sure right now, but I would like to continue my career in the Premier League or the Bundesliga.”
