The 23-year-old midfielder had his break-away season with Leicester, becoming a key player in Brendan Rodger’s team last season following loan spells with Blackpool and Luton Town. TalkSPORT journalist Geoff Peters broke the news of KDH having ‘signed a new bumper long-term contract at Leicester City.’ The contract is said to bring his wages ‘in line with senior members of the squad.’
The Foxes’ fans are now awaiting the official confirmation from the club of ‘one of their own’ committing his future to the club. The 23-year-old gave us some hints about extending his stay at City last week in an interview with LCFC TV, where he said: “The 2021/22 season will be one I never forget”
“Making my first-team debut and scoring my first senior goal for Leicester were magical moments. I’ve had a taste of Premier League football now, and just want to experience more of it and keep growing and improving as a player and as a team.
“I’m looking forward to the opening day and the challenge Brentford will pose. We’ll be fully prepared and will expect a tough game, but I’m just really eager for that first whistle now and can’t wait to get going again in the Premier League.”
